My name’s Angela. I originally hail from London and am now blissfully established on Sydney’s Northern Beaches with my husband and two little ones.
My previous professional life was in Corporate Land, where I worked with many talented people and companies in technology sales and marketing. Since becoming a parent I realised that modern lives are also multi-career lives. So, I took a deep breath and quit the comfortable corporate life to follow my dream and immerse myself in something I’ve been passionate about for a very long time – Interior Design.
I chose the name Unfold Interiors to describe what I feel makes a truly successful interior. That a well-designed home, with all its inhabitants, memories and belongings shouldn’t necessarily reveal itself immediately, but rather should gradually unfold and evolve with you.
My tastes are for modern interiors, with a leaning towards natural elements such as oak, marble, glass and brass. I have a tendency to be drawn to darker coloured schemes with a generous smattering of decorative English Quirkiness. I also have a huge penchant for velvet in any form and will mix colour and pattern with joyful abandon.
Alongside a budding interior design and decoration business, I also created the Home Native Blog.
My aim is to offer an instant connection to interior design insights and guidance in my How to’s and Tips and Tricks. It’s also my ‘safe space’ to obsess about the work I’m doing in Behind the Scenes and my design passions and inspirations in Unfold Crush. If this sounds appealing and you want to know how I really feel about certain interior trends, then read-on in Unfold Opinion.
Bring an open (interior obsessed) mind, add a generous pinch of salt to my musings and enjoy my site!
